Inspect the material for cracks, corrosion, warping, or previous weld failures
Clean the metal thoroughly, remove rust, paint, grease, and mill scale using a grinder, wire brush, or chemical cleaner
Cut material to size using a plasma cutter, angle grinder, or torch as needed
Fit and clamp pieces into position, checking for square and alignment before tacking
Select the correct filler metal, wire, or rod to match the base material
Choose the appropriate process (MIG, Stick, TIG, Flux-Core) based on material type, thickness, and environment

Mark and cut all pieces to spec using a plasma cutter, angle grinder, bandsaw, or torch
Deburr and dress all cut edges to ensure clean, tight-fitting joints
Dry-fit the assembly first, checking dimensions and alignment before any permanent welds
Tack weld components into position and re-check for square, level, and plumb
Complete full weld passes using the appropriate process for the material and joint type
Work in a logical sequence to control heat distortion and maintain structural integrity throughout the build

Yes, absolutely. Our welders are fully trained and experienced in carrying out safe on-site work across a variety of environments. Our welders are fully equipped with personal protective equipment. We conduct a thorough assessment of the area before starting any job and follow strict safety protocols to protect you, your property, and our team throughout the process. We will inform you at the earliest stage if it is unsafe to proceed with a job.

Costs vary depending on the complexity of the job, materials required, and your location. We offer fair, transparent pricing and are happy to provide a quote before any work begins so there are no surprises. As a baseline we charge a minumum fee of £100 for a project to cover travel and our rates are based on £60 per hour, plus materials. Call or message us with details of the job and we'll get back to you with an estimate. Mobile welding offers the advantage of not having to transport your item to a workshop and is often cheaper and quicker than using a workshop facility.
